House Attack
The art installation ‘House Attack’ by the Austrian artist Erwin Wurm installed at the edge of the MUMOK Museum Moderner Kunst Wien. Seen from afar a single-family house was plummeted on to the external facade of MUMOK, a metaphorical symbol of privacy, everyday life as well as conservativeness and small-minded aspirations. The collision of the two objects merges them into one, hence the museum becoming part of the installation.
